Radiator Cooling Fan Motor: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove air cleaner duct and air cleaner assembly.
3. On 4 cylinder engine models, remove wiring harness from motor and fan frame, then remove fan assembly from radiator support.
4. On V6 engine models, remove primary hood latch.
5. Drain engine coolant, then disconnect upper radiator hose at radiator and position aside.
6. Disconnect transaxle cooler lines at radiator and position aside, then disconnect wiring harness connector at coolant fan and remove fan assembly from radiator support.
7. On all models, reverse procedure to install.
