Front Wheel Alignment


CASTER & CAMBER

Front caster and camber angles are not adjustable. If caster or camber is found to be out of specifications, inspect suspension and related body components for damage and repair or replace as necessary.

TOE-IN


Fig. 1 Front Toe Adjustment:






1. Loosen right and left tie rod end clamps, Fig. 1.
2. Turn right and left tie rod adjusters as necessary to bring toe within specifications.
3. On 1989 models, ensure right and left tie rods are equal in length, then torque clamp bolts to 41 ft. lbs.
4. On 1990-93 models, ensure right and left tie rods are equal in length, then torque clamp bolts to 15 ft. lbs.

VEHICLE TRIM HEIGHT

Vehicle trim height is measured from the rocker panel to ground. From rocker panel front to ground should be 7.7 inches. From rocker panel rear to ground, trim height should be 7.5 inches. If trim height is not within limits, check control arms, struts and ball joints for wear and damage.
