Positive Crankcase Ventilation: Testing and Inspection

PCV Flow:

INCORRECT PCV OPERATION:

1. A plugged orifice or hose may cause:
a. Higher than normal Idle Air Control (IAC) steps.
b. Oil in air cleaner.


PCV DESCRIPTION:

There are no moving parts in the PCV system. Proper operation of the PCV system is dependent upon a sealed engine.
