Trunk / Liftgate: Description and Operation

With the Ignition Switch in RUN and the Gear Selector Lever in park, voltage is applied through I/P Fuse Block Fuse 2 (with retained accessory power) or fuse 8 (without retained accessory power) to the Luggage Compartment Lid Release Switch. When the Switch is closed, voltage is applied to the Luggage Compartment Lid Release Actuator, releasing the luggage compartment lid.
