The procedure published in your Service Manual for servicing the upper intake manifold has been revised. This engine uses a composite upper intake manifold with an aluminum lower intake manifold. DO NOT use Loctite(R) Instant Gasket Eliminator, GM P/N 1052942, when installing the upper intake manifold.

Tighten

Tighten the lower intake manifold bolts to 15 Nm (11 lb.ft.).
