THIS BULLETIN IS BEING REVISED TO CANCEL THE R134a COMPRESSOR PARTS AND SERVICE PROGRAM. THE ORIGINAL PART NUMBERS HAVE BEEN SUPERSEDED TO THOSE LISTED BELOW. CALLING TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE PRIOR TO ORDERING A R134a COMPRESSOR IS NO LONGER MANDATORY. PREVIOUS DIVISIONAL PUBLICATION NUMBERS WERE (SEE ILLUSTRATION).

All SPO controls on the parts listed in the Service Parts Information Section were removed as of September 20, 1993. The $100 core charge will no longer apply after January 1st 1994.

Please continue performing a thorough diagnostic check on the A/C system and calling technical assistance (if necessary) before replacing a compressor. However, if you determine that a compressor must be replaced, it may be ordered directly from GMSPO.
