DRIVEABILITY CONCERNS
(INSTALL NEW EE "FLASH" PROM CALIBRATION)

MODELS:
1993 CHEVROLET CAMARO
1993 PONTIAC FIREBIRD
(EQUIPPED WITH 3.4L (L32) V6 ENGINE)

CONDITION:
Some owners may experience a driveability concern addressed by reprogramming the powertrain control module (PCM) with a new "Flash" EE PROM program and/or replacement of the throttle body.

CORRECTION:





These driveability concerns can be corrected with a new "Flash" EE PROM program and/or replacement of the throttle body. See illustration.

PARTS INFORMATION:





The flash calibrations will be available on the November 1993 STG CD release. The throttle body and gasket are currently available from GMSPO.

WARRANTY INFORMATION:

Labor Operation: T0500 - Reprogram PCM

Labor Time: 0.3 hour

If replacement of the throttle body assembly is required, use labor operation number J5490. Use published labor operation time.
