TEST CONDITIONS
Check for vehicle speed signal during periods when vehicle movement is suspected.
FAULT CONDITIONS
If vehicle speed signal is not detected for 20 seconds, followed by 5 or more transitions in lateral accelerator switch input, set code.
ACTION TAKEN:
Record vehicle speed signal error, then turn on all three driver select switch L.E.D.'S. System will continue to default to zero speed damping level (firm).
DESCRIPTION
A vehicle speed signal error occurs when the Control Module detects 5 or more transitions in the lateral accelerator switch input after 20 or more seconds without a vehicle speed input. If a fault is detected, the system will set error code 34 and activate the driver select switch L.E.D.'S.
