Pump Assembly

Power Steering Pump Mounting:

Remove or Disconnect

1. V.E.S. electrical connector (if equipped).
2. Belt.
3. Pump bolts.
4. Pump.
5. Lines.
6. Transfer pulley as necessary.

Install or Connect

1. V.E.S electrical connector (if equipped).
2. Lines

Tighten
^ Power steering gear inlet pipe to 27 N.m (20 lbs. if.).
^ Power steering fluid reservoir hose clamp to 2 N.m (20 lbs. in.).

3. Pump.
4. Pump bolts.

Tighten
^ Pump mounting bolts to 29 N.m (21 lbs. if.).

5. Belt.
6. Fill reservoir with power steering fluid and bleed air from system.

Inspect
^ For leaks.
