Troubleshooting Hints
TRY THE FOLLOWING CHECKS BEFORE DOING THE SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS:1. If Daytime Running Lights On Indicator does not operate properly, check CKT 9 and bulb for an open.
2. Check HTR-A/C and FOG Fuses.
3. If BRAKE Indicator is lit with Ignition Switch in RUN and Park Brake released, refer Brake Warning. Brake Warning Indicator
4. If Headlights do not turn off with Ignition Switch in OFF, replace Headlight Switch Assembly.
5. Without Fog Lights: If HI Beam Headlights remain dimly lit with Ignition in OFF, replace Daytime Running Lights (DRL) Relay.
6. If Park Lights do not operate, refer Exterior Lights. Lighting and Horns
7. Check that grounds G103 and G104 are tight and clean.
8. If one Headlight or Fog Light does not operate properly, check Lamp, connections and wires to light.
9. If Headlights on one side are dim, check ground on that side.
