DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE P1623 PROM ERROR

NOTICE: After completing diagnosis and repair, clear stored Antilock Brake System/Traction Control System (ABS/TCS) Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) 75.

Check that PROM is correctly inserted in the socket. If OK, replace PROM, clear memory and recheck. If DTC P1623 reappears, replace the Powertrain Control Module (PCM).

NOTICE: To prevent possible Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) damage to the PCM or PROM, do NOT touch the computer leads. Do NOT remove integrated circuit from carrier.
