Balance Shaft Removal

TOOLS REQUIRED
^ J 6125-1B Slide Hammer
^ J 36995 and J 36995-UPD Balance Shaft Remover
^ Or equivalent

PROCEDURE
1. Remove the balance shaft drive gear bolt.
2. Remove the balance shaft drive gear.





3. Remove the balance shaft retainer bolts.
4. Remove the balance shaft retainer.
5. Remove the balance shaft gear.





6. Use the J 6125-1B in order to remove the balance shaft.





7. Use the J 36995 and J 36995-UPD in order to remove the rear bushing. It may take a considerable amount of force in order to loosen the bushing from the block bore.
