Universal Breakout Box:

Used to test individual circuits in the system by monitoring voltage or resistance using a high impedance multimeter. Can also be used for pinout circuit checks by disconnecting the option adapters at the vehicle system control module. Refer to Powertrain Control Module (PCM) Connector End View tables in appropriate engine section for specific engine adapter harness J 39700-XXX.
