Shift Linkage: Adjustments
ADJUSTMENTS1. Place transmission control lever in neutral position.
2. Loosen cable attachment nut(s) or bolt(s) at shift lever.
3. Rotate shift lever clockwise to park detent and then back to neutral position.
4. Tighter cable attaching nuts or bolts to specification. Control lever must be held out of Park position when tightening nut.
5. Check cable adjustment by rotating transmission control lever through each detent position.
