Troubleshooting Hints
Perform before beginning System Diagnosis1. Check HDLP Circuit Breaker.
2. Check HTR-A/C Fuse by operating Heater blower.
3. If the Instrument Cluster gages and indicators do not operate, check the GAGES Fuse.
4. Check TAIL LPS fuse by operating Park Lights.
5. Check INST LPS Fuse by operating the Instrument Panel Dimmer Lights.
6. If BRAKE Indicator is lit with Ignition Switch in "RUN" and Park Brake released, refer to Brake Lamp (Warning Indicator). Brake Warning Indicator
7. If Fog Lights do not turn OFF, replace Fog Light Relay.
8. If Night Mode of Daytime Running Lights (DRL) Module is activated in bright light, check Photoresistor for obstruction (dirt or lint, for example).
9. Check that ground G1O2 is clean and tight.
10. If LO or HI Beam on one side does not light, check bulb, connection, and wires to Headlight.

12. If Automatic Door Lock Feature does not operate but Electronic PRNDL Display is OK, refer to Lock, Doors for diagnosis.

^ Check for a broken (or partially broken) wire inside of the insulation which could cause system failure but prove "GOOD" in a continuity/voltage check refer to Diagnostic Aids. Diagnostic Aids
^ Check for proper installation of aftermarket electronic equipment which may affect the integrity of other systems refer to Diagnostic Aids. Diagnostic Aids
