Instrument Cluster / Carrier: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove air cleaner assembly.
3. Remove instrument pad cover and instrument cluster trim plate.
4. Remove LH sound insulator.
5. Remove steering column trim panel.
6. Remove shift control cable at bracket and lever.
7. Remove shift indicator cable.
8. Disconnect electrical connectors, then remove cluster mounting bolts and instrument cluster.
9. Reverse procedure to install. Torque cluster mounting bolts to 18 in lb.
