Battery Run Down Protection

Inadvertent Power Control output of the Multi-function Alarm Module applies voltage to the Courtesy, Header,Reading, I/P Compartment and Luggage Compartment Lights. Its output timer will shut off power to all the above lights with the Ignition Switch "OFF" after 18 to 22 minutes. If the vehicle has travelled less than 15 miles since battery voltage was applied to the module, the output timer will shut off the lights after 2 to 4 minutes.

The Inadvertent Power Control output can be reset by opening or closing either front door, or turning Ignition Switch to "RUN," or checking and shutting off any Interior Lights that are turned on accidentally.
