Oil Scoop In Bottom Pan Eliminated
As of start of production 1994 all 4T60-E models eliminated the bolt on oil weir (scoop) in the bottom pan area. The oil weir was replaced with an additional case casting which was added In the area previously occupied by the bolt on weir (scoop).
Bolt holes may still be present In the previous area on the newly redesigned case. These should be Ignored, and have been eliminated on later model cases. The new case can be used to service earlier model units.
