This bulletin updates Section 6E3 of the 1994 and 1995 "J, N, L and A" Series Service Manuals with 2.2L and 2.3L engines. This update DOES NOT apply to the 1995 "J" Series Service Manual Update labeled GMP/95-J-UPD. Chart A-2 - No DLC Data or MIL "ON" Steady, on page 6E3-A-21 requires the following correction:

After answering the question in Step 3, "MIL should be "OFF." Is it?", the YES and NO boxes are reversed. The YES box should lead you to "Check the EPROM for proper installation", and the NO box should lead you to "Repair short to ground in CKT 419".

Please make a note of this correction in your Service Manuals.
