Rear Window Release

PERFORM BEFORE BEGINNING SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS:
1. Check relay center fuse #1.
2. Check I/P fuse block fuse #1D (Buick C with gage cluster UB3 only).
3. Visually inspect trunk lid pull-down connector and associated wiring.
4. Trunk lid lock must securely lock to striker for proper operation of trunk lid pull-down actuator.
5. Before component replacement, check for poor terminal contact at component and harness connectors.
6. Check for proper installation of aftermarket electronic equipment which may affect the integrity of other systems.
7. Check for a broken (or partially broken) wire inside of insulation which could cause system malfunction but prove "GOOD" in a continuity/voltage check with a system disconnected. (Refer to General Troubleshooting Procedures) Diagnostic Aids
