Fog/Driving Lamp: Description and Operation

With the Headlamp Switch in "PARK" or "HEAD," voltage is applied to the Fog Lamp Switch. Voltage is also applied at all times to the switch side of the Fog Lamps Relay through I/P Fuse Block FOG LPS Fuse. With the Fog Lamp Switch in the "ON" position, voltage is applied to the coil of the Fog Lamps Relay. The coil receives ground through the Lamp Control Module. With the Fog Lamps Relay coil energized, its contacts close, applying voltage to the fog lamps. If the high beam headlamps are turned on, the Lamp Control Module removes the ground from the Fog Lamps Relay and the fog lamps turn off.
