1. Remove steering wheel. Refer to Steering / Steering Wheel.
2. Remove turn signal switch. Refer to Lighting and Horns / Turn Signal / Turn Signal Switch. Service and Repair
3. Remove buzzer switch retaining clip, then the buzzer switch.
4. Place ignition switch in Lock position.
5. Remove lock cylinder retaining screw, Fig. 7.
6. Disconnect terminal electrical connector at bulkhead connection to provide slack.
7. Remove wiring connector from steering column.
8. Attach a suitable length of mechanic wire to ignition lock electrical connector for use during installation. Detach wire retaining clip, then carefully pull ignition lock wiring through housing shroud, steering column and lock housing cover.
9. Remove lock cylinder.
10. Reverse procedure to install. Ensure lock cylinder wiring is properly routed through steering column. Torque lock cylinder retaining screw to 22 lb in
