Troubleshooting Hints - Compressor Controls

PERFORM BEFORE BEGINNING SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS
1. Check A/C Fuse with a fuse tester.
2. Check HTR Fuse with a fuse tester.
3. Check IG Fuse with a fuse tester.
4. Check that Blower Motor operates. Refer to Heater, Testing and Inspection for Blower Motor and Heater System check.
5. Check that A/C Condenser Fan operates. Refer to Condenser Fan Motor, AC. Condenser Fan
6. Check that grounds G102, G103, G201 and G202 are clean and tight.
7. Check that A/C System is properly charged with refrigerant.
8. Before component replacement, check for poor connections at related component and in-line harness connector terminal connections.
