Ignition Key Warning Alarm
Battery, voltage is applied at all times through the Tail Fuse to the Ignition Key Warning Switch. When the ignition key is inserted into the ignition cylinder, the Ignition Key Warning Switch is closed, and a voltage signal is provided to the Audio Alarm Module. If the LH door is opened, the LH Front Door Jamb Switch closes and provides a ground signal to the Audio Alarm Module. When these two signals are received simultaneously, the Audio Alarm Module activates the ignition key warning alarm (approximately one pulse per half second). The Audio Alarm Module will not activate the alarm if it receives an ignition ON signal from the 10 Fuse while the ignition key is in the ignition cylinder and the LH Front Door is open. The alarm will continue to sound until either the ignition key is removed from the ignition cylinder or the LH Front Door is closed.
