Definition

Engine continues to run when turning the key "OFF," but runs very roughly. If the engine runs smoothly, check the ignition switch and adjustment.

Fuel System Checks

^ Check the Evaporative Emission (EVAP) system and fuel tank venting.

^ Check the fuel injector(s) for leakage. Refer to Fuel Injector Coil Test/Fuel Injector Balance Test Procedures.
