Pressure, Vacuum and Temperature Specifications

To relieve system pressure, remove fuel pump relay from main fuse panel located in engine compartment. Operate engine until fuel supply is depleted. Crank engine several times in 3 second intervals. Remove fuel tank filler cap to release vapor pressure, then reinstall cap. Place ignition switch in Off position, then install fuel pump relay. Attach a suitable fuel pressure test gauge to fuel feed hose. Start engine & check fuel pressure w/ engine at idle speed. Fuel pressure should be 13-20 psi. With ignition switch in On position, engine not operating, fuel pressure should be 23-31 psi.
