Throttle Valve Cable And Accelerator Control Cable:

INSPECT
1. Accelerator control cable end play.

^ Cable end play should be within specifications when the accelerator pedal is released with the engine not running.
^ Accelerator control cable end play specification: 10-15 mm (0.4-0.6 in.) with vehicle at normal operating temperature.

ADJUST
^ Loosen cable locknut and adjusting nut at throttle body.

1. Accelerator control cable end play until it is within specification. Be sure to tighten cable locknut and adjusting nut after adjustment is complete.
