Manifold Pressure/Vacuum Sensor: Service and Repair

Description:

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Negative (-) battery cable.
2. One clamp and vacuum hose from Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor.
3. Map sensor electrical connector.
4. One bolt and MAP sensor and bracket from bulkhead.
5. MAP sensor from MAP sensor bracket.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. MAP sensor to MAP sensor bracket.
2. MAP sensor and bracket to bulkhead; secure with one bolt. Tighten MAP sensor bracket bolt to 10 Nm (89 lb in).
3. MAP sensor electrical connector.
4. Vacuum hose to MAP sensor; secure with one clamp.
5. Negative (-) battery cable. Tighten negative (-) battery cable-to-negative (-) battery terminal.
