Transaxle Case Housing

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. New transaxle case housing gasket to transaxle case.

Important
- Use caution to position gasket correctly. Gasket should not protrude inside the transaxle case.





2. Case housing and position on transaxle case.





NOTICE: There are fourteen case housing bolts in all. Three of these bolts have a Torch type head. Apply Loctite (R) pipe sealant GM P/N 1052080, or equivalent, to the threaded portion of these bolts and install them in the position shown in the image. DO NOT apply sealant to the remaining eleven bolts.

3. Fourteen transaxle case housing bolts making sure the three Torrid type bolts have had Loctite pipe sealant GM P/N 1052080, or equivalent, applied to their threads and have been placed in their correct positions.

Tighten
- Transaxle case housing bolts to 23 N.m (17 lb. ft.).
