Valve Body, Accumulators and Solenoid Wiring Harness






REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. TV cable from throttle valve cam.
2. TV cable assembly from transaxle case.





3. Direct clutch and 2nd brake solenoid electrical connectors.





4. Solenoid wiring harness retaining plate.





5. Solenoid wiring harness from transaxle case.





6. Lower valve body bolts.
7. Valve body assembly from transaxle case.





8. Cover accumulators with a clean cloth and apply low pressure compressed air slowly to the fluid passages shown in the image, until the air pressure forces the forward clutch and 2nd brake accumulators out of their respective case bores.

Inspect
- Accumulator pistons for cracks, scarring or damage.
- Accumulator springs for weakness, cracks or damage.
- Piston seals for cuts or damage.
- Accumulator case bores for scars, nicks or pitting.
