Troubleshooting Hints

PERFORM BEFORE BEGINNING SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS:
1. If Daytime Running Lamps "ON" Indicator does not operate properly, refer to Instrument Panel, Gauges and Warning Indicators. Instrument Panel, Gauges and Warning Indicators
2. Check L HDLP and R HDLP Fuses.
3. If BRAKE Indicator is lit with Ignition Switch in RUN and Park Brake released, refer to Brake Warning. Instrument Panel, Gauges and Warning Indicators
4. If Park Lamps do not operate, refer to Exterior Lights. Testing and Inspection
5. Check that grounds G102, G103 and G105 are tight and clean.
6. If one Headlamp or Fog Lamp does not operate properly, check lamp, connections, and wires to lamp.
^ Check for a broken (or partially broken) wire inside of the insulation which could cause system failure but prove "GOOD" in a continuity/voltage check (refer to "General Troubleshooting Procedures,"). Diagnostic Aids
^ Check for proper installation of aftermarket electronic equipment which may affect the integrity of other systems (refer to "General Troubleshooting Procedures,").
