with 2.2L Engine (VIN 4 - RPO LN2)

This bulletin is being issued to revise the Engine Cranks but Does Not Run table for 1996 vehicles equipped with 2.2L engines.

On Step 8 of the Engine Cranks but Does Not Run table, the No column instructs the technician to go to DTC P1441, EVAP System During Non-Purge. The technician should go to Engine Cranks but Does Not Run Fuel Pump Circuit.

Please make a note of this revision in your Service Manual.
