Accelerator Cable Bracket

Throttle Cable Bracket:

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Accelerator cable splash shield attaching screws and splash shield from accelerator cable bracket.
2. Accelerator, cruise and transmission cables, (If equipped).
3. Accelerator cable bracket attaching nuts/bolt (1) (2) and accelerator cable bracket (3).

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Accelerator cable bracket with attaching nuts/bolt (1) (2).


NOTICE:
The accelerator bracket must be aligned with the accelerator cam to prevent cable wear, which could result in cable breakage.

2. Top bolt to bracket.
3. Bolt and nut to bracket.

Tighten
Bolt and nuts (top bolt first) to 25 Nm (18 lb. ft.).
