Service Procedure

1. Inspect the fuel injectors in the vehicle for the date code D195 as illustrated in Figure 1. In some situations an inspection mirror may be required to inspect all of the fuel injectors. The date code will be followed by an "A" or "B" these letters are immaterial. All injectors with the date code D195, must be replaced.

2. If any fuel injectors are found bearing the date code D195 replace them using service procedures from section 6C of the appropriate service manual.

3. Install the GM Campaign Identification Label.

4. California dealers only, provide owner with a "Vehicle Emission Recall Proof of Correction" certificate.
