Oil Pump Drive Shaft Assemble

1. Inspect the transmission oil pump shaft (18) for the following:
- Nicks or damage to the splines
- A bent or a damaged shaft
- A bent or a damaged pump shaft flange





2. Assemble the oil pump drive shaft (18) into the case cover.





3. Align the manual valve rod (701) under the manual valve (406).
4. Pull up on the manual valve rod (701) until the rod locks into place with the manual valve (406)
