Troubleshooting Hints
PERFORM BEFORE BEGINNING SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS1. Check I/P Fuse Block PWR SUNRF Circuit Breaker 1 by visual inspection.
2. If sunroof does not operate for ten minutes after ignition switch is turned to OFF (if equipped with Retained Accessory Power), refer to Retained Accessory Power for diagnosis. Accessory Delay Module
3. Partially lower headliner, release clutch and manually crank sunroof using a 4 mm hex wrench.
^ If there is mechanical binding, refer to Power Distribution for repair procedures. Power and Ground Distribution
^ If sunroof operates smoothly from hand crank, proceed to the Symptom Table.
4. Check that ground G201 is clean and tight.
5. Check that all sunroof connectors are seated properly.
6. Check for a broken (or partially broken) wire inside of the insulation which could cause system failure but prove "GOOD" in a continuity/voltage check. (Refer to Troubleshooting Procedures.)
7. Check for proper installation of aftermarket electronic equipment which may effect the integrity of other systems. (Refer to Troubleshooting Procedures.) Diagnostic Aids
