Oil Pump Specifications

The 4T65-E has an oil pump assembly that has selective rotor, vane and slide components. These components are chosen based on pump body dimensions. Oil pump body, rotor, vane and slide components are available in four size classifications (1, 2, 3 and 4) with the following tolerances:

17.953 to 17.963 mm 0.7068 to 0.7072 inch
17.936 to 17.973 mm 0.7072 to 0.7076 inch
17.973 to 17.983 mm 0.7076 to 0.7080 inch
17.983 to 17.993 mm 0.7080 to 0.7084 inch



Vane Selection
17.943 to 17.961 mm 0.7064 to 0.7071 inch

Rotor, vanes and slide must be chosen in the same size classification to match the oil pump body.

Allowable rotor, vane and slide end play to the oil pump body are as follows:
SLIDE TO OIL PUMP BODY END PLAY 0.033-0.076 mm (0.0013-0.0030 in)
ROTOR AND VANE TO OIL PUMP BODY END PLAY 0.050-0.083 mm (0.0020-0.0033 in)
