Refrigerant Pressure Sensor / Switch: Service and Repair

Remove or Disconnect

1. Electrical connector at sensor (26).
2. Sensor (26) and seal (39)
^ Sensor (26) is mounted on a Schrader(R) valve so it is not necessary to discharge the refrigeration system
^ Discard Seal (39).

Install or Connect

1. New seal (39) to sensor fitting.
^ Coat seal (39) with mineral base 525 viscosity refrigerant oil.
2. Sensor (26).

Tighten

^ Sensor (26) to 6 N.m (53 lb. in.).

3. Electrical connector to sensor (26).
