Crankshaft Balancer and Hub Removal

^ Tools Required, or equivalent:
J 38122 Crankshaft Balancer Holder
J 24420-B Crankshaft Balancer Puller

NOTE: An automatic transmission crankshaft balancer must not be installed on a manual transmission equipped engine. A manual transmission crankshaft balancer must not be installed on an automatic transmission equipped engine.

1. Remove the balancer retaining bolt and washer. Use the crankshaft balancer holder in order to prevent the crankshaft from rotating when loosening the bolt.
2. Remove the balancer assembly. Use the crankshaft balancer puller.
