Composite Halogen Bulb Removal

CAUTION: Halogen bulbs contain gas under pressure. Handling a bulb improperly could cause It to Shatter into flying glass fragments. To help avoid personal injury;
^ Turn off the lamp switch and allow the bulb to cool before changing bulbs. Leave the lamp switch off until the bulb change is complete.
^ Always wear eye protection when changing a halogen bulb.
^ Handle the bulb only by its base. Avoid touching the glass.
^ Do not drop or scratch the bulb.
^ Keep dirt and moisture off the bulb.
^ Place the used bulb in the new bulb's carton and dispose of it properly.
^ Keep halogen bulbs out of the reach of children.

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Upper air intake splash shield.
2. Lamp assembly, (2) bolts.
3. Socket by turning and pulling out.
. Electrical connector; with one hand, grip the wiring harness end of the bulb that the electrical wires go into, but do not grip the wires. With the other hand, grip the base of the bulb, but do not grip the bulb glass. Then, carefully pull the bulb base apart from the wiring harness.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Bulb socket to lamp harness connector.
2. Align bulb flange notch with lamp housing key way Insert bulb into lamp housing.
3. Turn into housing.
4. Lamp assembly.
5. Upper air intake splash shield.
