Security Features
To prevent the unwanted possibility of the transmitter signal from being recorded and retransmitted to unlock the doors, a "rolling code" is incorporated into the RFA Module. Each time the transmitter is used, the RFA Module increments the "rolling code" to the next code. If the transmitter is activated outside the range of the RFA Module for more than a predetermined number of actuations, the transmitter will no longer be synchronized with the RFA Module's "rolling code." The transmitter will not be functional until it has been resynchronized with the RFA Module. To resynchronize the transmitter to the RFA Module, the operator must hold both the "LOCK" and "UNLOCK" buttons for approximately 10 seconds while within the RFA Module's signal reception range. This will produce a cycling of the locks to notify the operator that the system is now synchronized and operational.
