Window Channel Retainer Replacement - Rear Door

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Partially remove the upper portion of the rear door frame applique. Refer to Door Frame Applique Replacement - Rear.
2. Pull downwards on the door window weatherstrip to gain access to the screws.
3. Remove the window weatherstrip retainer screws.
4. Remove the forward mounting screw to the window weatherstrip retainer.
5. Remove the window weatherstrip retainer from the door.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Position the window weatherstrip retainer.
2. Push downwards on the door window weatherstrip to gain access to the screw holes.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Install the window weatherstrip retainer screws.

Tighten
Tighten the window weatherstrip retainer screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

4. Install the door garnish molding.
