Cruise Control Cable Replacement (LD9)

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the air intake duct assembly.
2. Remove the cruise control cable tab from the Throttle Body Injection (TBI) cam. In order to release the tab, rotate the throttle body cam to 1/4 open throttle.
3. Push the locating fitting inward to release the cable. Pull the cable from the bracket.
4. Turn the cable assembly 1/4 counterclockwise in order to disconnect the cable assembly from the module.
5. Disconnect the cable (4) from the ribbon.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Connect the cable (4) to the ribbon.
2. Turn the cable assembly 1/4 clockwise in order to connect the cable assembly to the module.
3. Install the cruise control cable tab to the TBI cam.
4. Align the cruise control cable fitting to the TBI bracket. Snap the cable fitting into place.
5. Install the air intake duct assembly.
6. Adjust the cruise control cable. Refer to Cruise Control Cable Adjustment (LD9). Cruise Control Cable Adjustment (LD9)
