Coaxial Cable ReplacementREMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the radio.
2. Remove the right side windshield garnish molding.
3. Remove the upper instrument panel trim pad.
4. Remove the right rear upper quarter trim panel.
5. Lower the headliner.
6. Disconnect the antenna coaxial cable (1) from the radio cavity by sliding the cable connection upwards out of the retainer (2).
7. Remove the cable clip (3) from the ductwork.
8. Remove the remaining cable clips (1) from the instrument panel support.
9. Disconnect the coaxial cable connectors (2).
10. Disconnect the coaxial cable from the antenna module located on the rear roof beam.
11. Disconnect the ground cable (1) from the front roof beam.
12. Disconnect the antenna connection (2) at the windshield.
13. Remove the Rosebud clips from the A-pillar.
14. Disconnect the power lead connection (2)
15. Remove the rosebud and edge of metal clips (3) from the roof beams.
16. Remove the coaxial cable harness from the vehicle.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the coaxial cable harness to the roof beams with the rosebud and edge of metal clips (3). The Yellow taped rosebud clip indicates the first rosebud clip to set.
2. Connect the power lead connectors (2).
3. Install the antenna connection (2) at the windshield.
4. Connect the ground connector (1) to the front roof beam.
5. Install the coaxial cable harness to the A-pillar with the rosebud clips (3).
6. Install the coaxial cable connections to the antenna module.
7. Connect the coaxial cable connectors (2).
8. Install the cable clips (1) to the instrument panel support.
9. Insert the cable connector (1) into the retainer (2) in the radio cavity.
10. Install the cable clip (3) to the ductwork.
11. Install the upper instrument panel trim pad.
12. Install the radio.
13. Install the headliner.
14. Install the upper rear quarter trim panel.
15. Install the right side windshield garnish molding.
