Front Floor Console Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the instrument panel (IP) cluster trim plate bezel.
2. Remove the console tray insert.
3. Remove the console trim plate.




4. Disconnect the shifter cable (1).
5. Disconnect the shift lock cable (2).




6. Remove the console main wiring harness connector.




7. Remove the fasteners from the console to the IP.




8. Remove the fasteners from the console to the floor.
9. Slide the console rearward and up in order to remove from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the console into the vehicle by sliding forward and fitting up to the instrument panel (IP).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.




2. Install the fasteners from the console to the floor.

Tighten the fasteners to 9 N.m (80 lb in).




3. Install the fasteners from the console to the IP.

Tighten the fasteners to 6 N.m (53 lb in).




4. Connect the main wiring harness connector.




5. Connect the shift lock cable (2).
6. Connect the shifter cable (1).
7. Install the console trim plate.




8. Install the console tray insert.
9. Install the IP cluster trim plate bezel.
