Front Seat Replacement - Bucket

Removal Procedure

Caution: Refer to SIR Handling Caution in Service Precautions.

1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to Disabling the SIR System () in Restraint Systems.
2. Move the seat to the full forward position.




3. Remove the rear seat track bolt trim cover on the inboard seat track.




4. Remove the rear seat track trim cover (1) from the outboard seat track.




5. Remove the seat track retainer bolts.
6. Move the seat to the full rearward position.




7. Remove the front seat track bolt trim covers.




8. Remove the front seat track bolts.




9. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
10. Remove the seat from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the seat into the vehicle.




2. Connect the electrical connectors.






Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Install the track retainer bolts.

Tighten the seat track retainer bolts to 30 N.m (22 lb ft).




4. Install the seat track bolt trim covers.




5. Install the front seat retainer bolts.

Tighten the front seat track retainer bolts to 30 N.m (22 lb ft).




6. Install the front seat track retainer bolt covers.
7. Reposition the seat.
8. Enable the SIR system. Refer to Enabling the SIR System () in Seat Belts.
