90. Water Pump Installation

- J 36660-A Torque Angle Meter





1. Install the water pump gasket.
2. Install the water pump.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Install and tighten the water pump bolts.
A. Tighten the long water pump bolts to 20 Nm (15 lb ft) on the first pass.
B. Tighten the short water pump bolts to 15 Nm (11 lb ft) on the first pass.
C. Using the J 45059, rotate the long water pump bolts an additional 40 degrees in a final pass.
D. Using the J 45059, rotate the short water pump bolts an additional 80 degrees in a final pass.





4. Install the water pump pulley.
5. Install the water pump pulley bolts.
- Tighten the water pump pulley bolts to 13 Nm (116 inch lbs.).
