Odometer Repair Label Description

Verify that both of the following conditions exist:
^ You have performed one of the following actions on either the odometer or the instrument cluster:
- Service
- Repair
- Replacement

^ The odometer does not register the same mileage as before you removed the odometer.

If both of the conditions exist, perform the following actions:
^ Set the replacement odometer to 0.
^ Attach an odometer/mileage label to the left front door frame.

Include the following information on the label (1):
^ The actual miles
^ The date
^ The signature of an authorized agent

Retain a copy in compliance with the retention requirements specified in the Guidelines for General Motors Odometer Policy.
