Head Up Display Module Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the windshield defroster grille.
2. Remove the instrument panel trim plate bezel.
3. Remove the instrument panel upper trim pad.
4. Remove the fasteners (1) from the head-up display module (2) to the instrument panel.
5. Lift the head-up display module (2) from the instrument panel.
6. Disconnect the electrical connector (3).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Connect the electrical connector (3).
2. Install the head-up display module (2) into the instrument panel with the clip firmly snapped into the retaining bracket.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Install the fasteners (1) retaining the head-up display module to the instrument panel.

Tighten
Tighten the fasteners to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

4. Install the windshield defroster grille.
5. Install the instrument panel upper trim pad.
6. Install the instrument panel trim plate bezel.
