Throttle Body Air Inlet Screen Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Turn OFF the ignition.
2. Remove the electrical connector (2) from the IAT sensor (1).




3. Remove the air cleaner intake duct.




4. Remove the snap ring (3) from the throttle body (1).
5. Remove the air inlet screen (2) from the throttle body (1).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the air inlet screen (2) into the throttle body (1).
2. Install the snap ring to the throttle body.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.




3. Install the air cleaner intake duct.

Tighten
Tighten the clamp to 2 N.m (18 lb in).




4. Install the electrical connector (1) to the IAT sensor (2).
